Bridge Partnership
Launches New Website ::
Today The Bridge Partnership launched its new website to promote
the progress it is making in the area of administering Peace II
funds and implementing its Integrated Local Strategy in the Banbridge
District Council area.
Councillor Catherine McDermott, Chairman of The Bridge Partnership
commented, “I am delighted to see that we now have an on-line
presence as the Internet is a very effective tool for raising our
profile and keeping the local community informed about the work
that we are undertaking on their behalf. Our new website is a good
information source as it contains profiles on our area, our members,
our strategic themes, our Peace II Programmes and projects. Located
at www.bridgepartnership.org.uk, this site presents an excellent
opportunity for us to increase the local community’s understanding
of the work we do. I hope that those who visit the site find it
informative and re-visit it regularly to find out about our latest
developments.”
She continued, “Work on the development of our website has
been on-going for some time, but we were keen to launch as many
of our Programmes as possible before we placed it live.”
Under EC Regulations, The Bridge Partnership has an obligation
to promote, inform and publicise assistance received from European
Structural Funds.
