Minutes :: 10 February 2005

At this meeting, held at Banbridge District Council, new member Joan Davis from the Citizens' Advice Bureau was welcomed to the Board. The Programme Manager's Administration Report included information on progress to date and the Financial Update revealed that Measure 3.2 funding was all allocated and Measure 3.1 was 99% committed. The Monitoring Officer's Report outlined progress in terms of meeting the monitoring requirements which had been undertaken since the last meeting. The Programme Manager stated the importance of ensuring that all activities carried out by the Partnership are open and transparent in order to adhere to Freedom of Information legislation. It was agreed that a Freedom of Information Policy and Publication Scheme would be drawn up.

Minutes :: 16 June 2005 (AGM)
At the 2005 Annual General Meeting a copy of the Chairman°Øs Report was circulated and adopted unanimously. The financial accounts for the period April 2004 _ March 2005 were presented and the outgoing Chairperson, Cllr Cassie McDermott expressed her appreciation to staff and members for their help during the year. Newly elected office bearers were John Dawson as Chairperson and Sharon Currans and Frank McQuaid as Vice-Chairpersons.

Following the AGM, members held a regular meeting to receive an update on each Programme. Members were informed that under the new PEACE II Extension The Bridge Partnership was allocated £147,637 per annum for a two year period and consequently it was anticipated The Bridge Partnership would be open for applications in September 2005.
Minutes :: 6 October 2005
After getting an update as contained within the Programme Manager’s Administration Report on each Programme being managed by The Bridge Partnership, the Programme Manager provided members with a full update on the finances. The Community Safety Officer highlighted the key points of her Report including a proposed Business Crime Conference in January 2006. Following an ‘away day’ in September the Programme Manager outlined the three Programmes identified which best suited the Partnership’s aims and objectives.

Held at Banbridge District Enterprise Centre, this meeting included Reports from the Programme Manager, Monitoring Officer and Community Safety Officer. An update was given to members on PEACE II extension progress and also on projects in the Banbridge District being funded through the Investing in Health Partnership.
