Produced in February 2002, The Bridge Partnership’s Integrated Local Strategy for the Banbridge District presents a vision for improving many areas within the District. It is the result of many months of consultation with many people who live and work in the area. This document formed the basis of a bid to the Special EU Programmes Body for Peace II Programme funds and sets out how local services can be delivered more effectively and efficiently and how the District can become competitive against the rest of the UK, Ireland and beyond. It provides a detailed overview of the nine strategic themes considered essential to future development of the area.
