Brian Wilson
Hewitt’s experience and involvement in trade union issues
makes him a good candidate to be a trade union representative on
The Bridge Partnership. He became a member of The Bridge Partnership
because he wanted to work more closely with local groups and improve
the Banbridge District for all who reside, live and work in its
environs.
His trade union interests are wide and varied. He is the Secretary
of the Banbridge branch of the AT&GWU, a member of the Mid and
West Ulster Committee, shop steward for the Industrials Road Service
(Carn Depot) and the senior shop steward for foremen inspection
in the southern division of DRD Roads Service.
Having achieved a City and Guilds qualification in Road Craft
and Advanced Road Craft, Brian plans to commence a BTEC course in
civil engineering.
Engaged to Rebecca, Brian also has a young daughter.
